The ESI and HZD Exoplanets Habitability Indices

These are introduction slides to the Earth Similarity Index (ESI) and the Habitable Zone Distance (HZD), two habitability indices for exoplanets. They are discussed in more detail as part of the Habitable Exoplanets Catalog. The slides include the scales with Solar System planets for comparison. Click the images for better resolution versions.
