Reference and Color Calibration for the Visible Daily-Earth

This is test image that we are using as landmasses reference and color calibration for the Visible Daily-Earth. It shows computer generated global views of Earth as seen from five meteorological geostationary satellites. They were generated with NASA Visible Earth data and SER. Earth clouds usually obscure and wash-out the colors as shown in this actual picture from the Annular Solar Eclipse of May 20-21, 2012. Click the image for a 48 megapixels high resolution version.
