ESI of Gliese 581 Planetary System

The Earth Similarity Index (ESI) is a number used to compare exoplanets with Earth as a measure of Earth-likeness in a scale from zero to one (one being exactly as Earth). The ESI of Gliese 581g is 0.88, well above the 0.80 reference value to be considered in the category of Earth-like planets.
